Workshop on 'Techniques of Paper Setting and Evaluation' kicks off

IMPHAL, Oct 6: A 3-day workshop on 'Techniques of Paper Setting and Evaluation' for teachers of Imphal East district commenced today at Lamlong Higher Secondary School.
The workshop has been organised by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM).
130 teachers from different schools of Imphal East district  are participating in the workshop.
Speaking at the inaugural function of the workshop, COHSEM Chairman, Dr Chingangbam Sarat stated that the workshop will benefit the teachers considerably while setting questions and evaluating the answer papers.
Highlighting the importance of imparting quality education to the students, he expressed that the teachers should possess adequate knowledge to be able to clear the queries and doubts of the students efficiently. To avoid any form of complaints or discrepancies after examination papers are evaluated, he appealed to all the evaluators to be extra cautious and evaluate the answer papers properly.
During the workshop, six resource persons spoke on the topic of the workshop.
Lamlong Higher Secondary School Principal, L Kamala and Senior Hindi Lecturer, Ng Tamphatombi also attended the occasion as the presidium members.
