MTDCEA appeals

Manipur Tribal Development Corporation Employees Association (MTDCEA) has appealed to the authorities concerned to enable the incumbent Chief Engineer of Manipur Tribal Development Corporation Limited (MTDC) to function properly.
In a press release, MTDCEA has maintained that MTDC is in a crucial state and the activities of the Corporation have been impeded since the current Chief Engineer has not been able to function properly.
In connection with the issue of MTDC, the employees expressed that it is a violation of the eligible employees' rights if an outsider is appointed to manage the Corporation. The appointment of an outsider will lead to extra expenditure in addition to the problems faced by the employees due to shortage of funds to provide salaries, said the release.
