Sadar Hills Super Division League SYC beat KYU 2-0, KFA drub TASA 5-1

KANGPOKPI, Oct 5: Having suffered a 0-2 loss at the hands of KFA, Saikotjang Youth Club (SYC) made a fine comeback to devastate Kangpokpi Youth Union (KYU) 2-0 in the ongoing Haopu Kipgen Memorial 9th Sadar Hills District Super Division Football League, 2022 at Brig M Thomas ground Kangpokpi district headquarters today.
KYU had multiple chances to score in the first half but failed to convert any of it including a goal-mouth opportunity. It were Saikotjang Youth Club who made a brilliant comeback in the second half to find the opener in the 60th minute when Haogunthang scored a brilliant goal before Lunchinkai doubled the score during the added time.
In the second match, Kuki Football Academy (KFA) maintained their unbeaten record by drubbing contenders Twilang Area Sporting Association (TASA) 5-1.
Lungousem found the breakthrough in the 18th minute before an own-goal from Seidinglen in the 25th minute and goals from Ngamgougin (40'), Lunginthang (42'), and Seikhochon (60').
TASA managed to score a consolation goal through Sehminlun in the 77th minute.
The closing matches will be played on October 10.
