16th Balananda Singh Memorial League3-0 win for Angel Club

IMPHAL, Oct 6: YWA Ningthoukhong went down 0-3 to Angel Club Thinungei while LYVO Lamlanghupi beat TYOGFA Toubul 2-1 today at the ongoing 16th (late) N Balananda Singh Memorial 2nd Division Football League 2022-23 organised by the District Sport Association Bishnupur.
In the match between LYVO and TYOGFA played at Mini Stadium Bishnupur, Ksh Frenky opened the goal account for TYOGFA in the 19th minute of the game. An equalizer was scored by LYVO's Rungkung John in the 32nd minute to end the first half in a 1-1 draw. Both sides fought back to regain control of the game in the second half but Haojalen Telien scored the second goal for LYVO in the 55th minute taking a 2-1 lead.
TYOGFA failed to find any equalizer and the final whistle went off in favour of LYVO.
Today's second match played at the same venue between Angel Club and YWA was a one-sided match as Angel Club's H Binod, Leishanthem Yaiphaba and M Lansanba Luwang scored one goal each in the 17th, 21st and 23rd minutes to dominate the game.
The match ended in a 3-0 victory for Angel Club.
