Stage set for Sr Men's State Level Volleyball tourney semi-finals

IMPHAL, Nov 9 : The semi-final line up of the 21st Senior Men's State Level Volleyball Tournament being organised by the All Manipur Volleyball Association at Khuman Lampak Volleyball Court has been completed with the conclusion of quarter finals.
MPSC will meet TRYVC, Kamjong in the first semi-final tomorrow while KYLSC, Kachikhul will play AMIMYDO, Mayang Imphal in the other semi-final tomorrow afternoon.
Group C runners up, MPSC reached the semi-final with a 25-23, 25-20, 25-23 win over Group A winners, SDVA, Senapati in the quarter final while TRYVC beat SCYC, Senjam Chirang 25-19, 25-20, 25-15.
In the other quarter final matches, Group C winners KYLSC beat Group A runners up IGO Oinam 25-12, 25-13, 25-21 and AMIMYDO beat YMDO 25-21, 17-25, 25-23, 25-23 in a keenly contested match.
Earlier in the league round matches, SDVA beat CDVA-Churachandpur 21-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-15 and edged past IGO, Oinam 25-17, 23-25, 25-21, 26-28, 15-10 to seal Group A top spot; TRYVC beat SDC, Samurou 25-23, 28-26, 25-18; CDVA beat NYDA, Nungkangching 25-19, 25-16, 20-25, 25-20 and AMIMYDO beat YPC-Ishok 25-6, 25-21, 25-21.
