Bpr 3rd Divn League : UFC hold HGKSA to 2-2 draw, qualify for semis

IMPHAL, Nov 9 : UFC-Bishnupur held NGKSA-Nga- ikhong Khullen to a 2-2 draw to finish Pool B runners up (8 pts) and in the ongoing 7th A Iboton Memorial 3rd Division U-15 Football League at Mini Stadium Bishnupur.
In the first Pool B match of the day, NGKSA lead the first half 1-0 with Th Bidyakumar goal in the 13th minute but Lanjaigai hit the equaliser for UFC in the 43rd minute.
Kh Bikash helped NGKSA overturn the lead in the 52nd minute, however, Pouchunthai scored two minutes later to bring UFC to level terms yet again before the eventual 2-2 draw.
TYDA-Toubul who were on 7 points from 3 matches got a walkover win with KYVO&SWC-Khunpam team not turning up in time and eventually top Pool A.
Later in an inconsequential Pool A match, OSA-Oinam beat Pool runners up RFCC-Keinou 1-0 thanks to Homesor's lone strike in the 31st minute.
