Trial selection for MU women chess team on Nov 16

IMPHAL, Nov 10 : Assistant Director of Sports, Manipur University Dr Ch Pradeep Singh has informed that a selection trial for selection of MU Chess (W) team for the year 2022-23 will be held on November 16, 2022 at Dr Kamal Indoor Stadium of MU.
In a press note, it is said that the selection trial will be held to select players for participation in the East Zone Inter University Chess (W) Tournament 2022-23.
The college which missed to participate in the last MU Inter College Chess (W) Tournament, 2022-23 could nominate a maximum of two players each for the trial, it said.
The MU Chess (M&W) teams will participate in the East Zone Inter University Chess Tournament, 2022-23 to be held at APS University, Rewa, Chhattisgarh from December 7 to 10 and at University of Science and Technology at Meghalaya from February 24 to 27, 2023.
