Children’s Day greetings

IMPHAL, Nov 13 : Education Minister Th Basantakumar Singh has extended his greetings to children on Children's Day which falls tomorrow.
In his message to children, Th Basantakumar said, “The significance of Children’s Day is to raise awareness about the rights, education and welfare of children.
“I appeal to all the children of Manipur to work hard to achieve their dreams and ambitions. Please inculcate discipline, humility and good virtues to become successful in life. Let us not waste time and indulge in bad habits as students. Let us not use unfair means in exam. Let's be obedient to our teachers and parents and contribute to Nation-building exercise of the country in future. The Government will try its level best to ensure that no child is deprived of the facilities of good education, health, hygiene, food & nutrition and healthy environment. Happy Children’s Day,” said the Minister in his message.
