MPSC, UKB post dominating wins in 15th Manipur

IMPHAL, Nov 13 : MPSC beat Yarkhok United FC (YUFC) 3-1 as United Khawzim Brothers (UKB) overwhelmed The Athletic Football Club (AFC) 3-0 in the ongoing 15th Manipur State League Group A matches at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.
In the 62nd match of the tourney, YUFC went ahead early in the 6th minute with Themchui RS goal but MPSC pulled level with Sanasam Robinson's strike in the 16th minute.
After settling the first half in a 1-1 draw, MPSC overturned the lead off an own goal by Yuryashim Yangya in the 56th minute before Haokhosei made the most of a chance to make it 3-1 after 80 minutes.
MPSC then held on to their lead to earn their second win after a similar win against YPHU.
The second match however turned out to be a lopsided affair as UKB took a slender 1-0 first half lead with the help of Thangminlen Misao goal in the 18th minute and S Kamthian John Ngaihte and Ngamminlal Lhungdim scored a goal each in the 75th and the 78th minutes to take the tally to 3-0.
Lacklustre AFC kept struggling till the end and UKB eventually walked home 3-0.
