Drug peddlers arrested

THOUBAL, Nov 13 : A team of Thoubal police led by Additional SP (Ops) Thoubal along with members of All Manipur Muslim Development Committee (AMMDC), Manipur Muslim Welfare Organisation (MMWO) and All Manipur Muslim Organisation Co-Ordinating Committee (AMMOCOC) arrested 2 drugs peddlers today at around 3.15 am.
The arrested persons were identified as Julie (30) w/o Md Zioul Haque of Irong Chesaba Mathak Umang and Md Amar (27) s/o Md Tombi @ Abdul Matalib of Sikhong Khunou.
The team consisting of OC Thoubal Police Station, CDO TBL and women police also recovered 6.35 gram of heroin and 20 small empty plastic bottles from the house of Julie.
The arrested persons along with seized items have been handed over to Mayang Imphal Police Station.
