Poclain torched

SENAPATI, Nov 13 : Unknown miscreants torched a poclain machine belonging to NHIDCL at Liyai Khunou along National Highway 101/A on the night of November 11 last.
Condemning the incident in a joint statement, the village authorities of Liyai Khullen and Liyai Khunou and student unions based in the villages said that they will summon all male members of the two villages for questioning.
They termed the incident as most unfortunate.
Appealing to the State Government to book all the culprits at the earliest, the joint statement appealed to all concerned to not disturb the construction works of NH-101/A but extend assistance.
The poclain machine was engaged in the construction of a double-lane Tadubi-Ukhrul-Tolloi road.
