Charge sheet submitted

IMPHAL, Nov 14: A charge sheet has been submitted against 41 years old Md Jabir Khan, Rifleman of 8th Manipur Rifles for allegedly molesting a minor girl on June 10, 2022.
The charge sheet was submitted by the Investigating Officer of Heingang police station after completion of investigation against Md Jabir Khan alias Zabir Khan (41) of Sangaiyumpham Part 1.
The Court took cognizance of the charge sheet and directed police to produce the accused before the same Court on December 2 for further hearing and consideration of the charges levelled against him.
The accused was arrested based on a complaint lodged by the minor victim stating that she was molested by the accused on their way from Pangei to Tangkham on June 10.
Later, the accused was remanded in judicial custody after he was produced before the Special Judge, POCSO Imphal East.
