IMPHAL, Nov 16: Guardians of Ramakrishna Mission School Entrance Test Appearing Students have drawn the attention of relevant authorities alleging irregularities in the written entrance examination of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Narendrapur.
The issue was raised by L Ramchandra, a guardian of Guardians of Ramakrishna Mission School Entrance Test Appearing Students during a press conference held at Manipur Press Club today.
He went on to share that the school had announced on its official website (www.rkmvnarendrapur.org) that the result of the written test conducted on November 13 from 12 noon until 2:45 pm will be declared on November 16 around 7 pm.
However, contrary to this announcement, the result was declared on the night of November 14 around 10:15 pm through personal phone calls, he alleged.
L Ramchandra went on to claim that the written test was supposed to be evaluated in Kolkata. In this regard, he questioned how the results were declared in such a short span of time and without any official announcement.
Out of the total 73 students who appeared in the written test, only 10 were informed of their results. However, the news soon spread to other parents who subsequently questioned the school authority but received no response, he maintained. L Ramchandra alleged that in the meantime the school has already conducted interviews and made final selections.
As a result, guardians concerned have appealed to the relevant authority to look into the matter.
