25 KV Transformer installed at Chingai PHC

Ukhrul, Nov 16 : A 25 KV Transformer was installed today at Chingai PHC, Ukhrul under the initiative of Mataimi Vanyuin Bou, representative of Sub-Division Development Monitoring Mission (SDDMM), Chingai Block.
According to Mataimi, SDDMM along with staff of SDO carried out surveys in 19 villages under Chingai Block during the month of June.
During the survey, it was found that Chingai PHC and Chingai Police Station were functioning without electricity for more than 9 months.
Seeing the need to install 1 special dedicated transformer for the PHC and Police station, Mataimi approached the Power Minister, Th Biswajit to allocate a transformer.
The Minister then issued the 25 KV Transformer considering the problems and grievances faced by staff of Chingai PHC and Police Station.
