INWU celebrates silver jubilee

NONEY, Nov 16 : The Silver Jubilee celebration of Inpui Naga Women's Union (INWU) began today at Nungtek Part-I under the theme, "Weaving Dreams and Dignity".
It was attended by Meikhemlu Khumba, first convenor INWU and Bt John, Paangkriang Friendship School, Ijeirong as presidium members.
The celebration began with the hoisting of the Jubilee Flag by Meikhemlu Khumba.
During the event, folk songs and cultural dances were presented by Haochong Women's Union, Makuilongdi Women's Union, Tamsamuan Women's Union, Pungmon Women's Union and Bakuwa Women's Union.
Shanti Bariam, INWU; Alimpi Bariam, vice president; BP Lungchui, general secretary and other public leaders also attended the event.
