30th Annual Conference of Rikhumai Taphou Women Society held

Senapati, Nov 16 : The 30th Annual Conference of Rikhumai Taphou Women Society was  held today at Old Church Complex under the theme, "Women's role in shaping the present-day world".
The annual conference was attended by Solomon Arow, president Naga People’s Organization; P Johna, chairman Rikhumai Taphou village; and PH John, adviser Tungjoy Women Society & former principal MVCC Kohima as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, PH John elaborated on the theme, "Women’s role in shaping the present-day world".
Stressing on the importance of education, he stated that the society cannot progress without empowering women.
Solomon Arow also spoke on the occasion.
