PNU condemns burning of excavator

Senapati, Nov 16 : Poumai Naga Union (PNU), apex civil body of Poumai community has come out strongly against the torching of an excavator belonging to NHIDCL at Liyai Khunou along NH-101/A on the night of November 11 last.
PNU along with PNM and PNTM made a spot inquiry into the incident where machineries of NHIDCL for construction of Tadubi-Tolloi road were burnt down by unknown miscreants.
A release issued by PNU stated that the unfortunate incident had enraged the union for tarnishing the image of Poumai people and as it had perpetrated in Poumai jurisdiction.
"The PNU views the destructive incident seriously and thereby asks the Person(s) responsible to come out clean. Barbarism of such nature shall not be tolerated in the Poumai Area", it added.
