MLA Nishikant reiterates commitment

IMPHAL, Nov 16 : As assured in the run up to the recent Manipur Legislative Assembly elections, Keishamthong AC MLA Nishikant Singh Sapam has reiterated his commitment to maintain transparency in keeping the account of Local Area Development Fund (LADF).
The MLA made the remark after inaugurating a renovated community hall and a badminton court at Pishum Ningom Leirak, today.
The badminton court and the community hall were renovated/constructed through LADF.
Saying that a LADF is not a private property of MLAs but sanctioned for the people, Nishikant continued that he will not misuse even a rupee from the fund but keep it transparently.
The MLA also said that he will deliver all the assurances  he had given ahead of the Assembly elections.
The programme organised by Yaipha Lamjing Lup (YLL) was also attended by  former Corporator of IMC Oinam Romeo, YLL president Oinam Chaoba and others.
