IMPHAL, Nov 7 : NEROCA FC blanked AIM 3-0 as DM RAO rode on Kishan Thongam's five goals to devastate NISA in Group B matches of the ongoing 15th Manipur State League at Mini Stadium Bishnupur.
In the 52nd match of the tournament, NEROCA FC sealed their third win thanks to S Johny Kom who scored a goal each on either side of the break (34', 57').
The other goal was scored by Maibam Deny in the 53rd minute as AIM failed to convert any of their chances today.
Goals galore in the second match of the day as DM RAO-Sekmai cruised to a 10-1 win over NISA. Kishan Thokchom was relentless today as he banged in five goals including the opener (8', 31', 62', 74', 83') to guide DM RAO to third win in four matches. Oinam Malem-nganba (11'), Th D Thamson Chiru (39'), Laishram Bicky (45'), Pebam Renedy (52') and Sagolsem Walson (90') were also on target in this comprehensive win over the Sekmai team while the face saving goal for the Thangmeiband side was scored by substitute Seigouthang Khongsai in the 70th minute.
