Trust, are you still in our midst

Trust,
For sometime now, I’ve been thinking
Is there any word  “Trust”!!
If at all it’s there
Any meaning of trust
Because in life
We all talk of trust
But trust is nowhere to be found
It is just like a shadow one can’t catch

In life,
No matter how good you’re to your loved ones
Doesn’t mean they’ll treat you the same
No matter how much you mean to them
Doesn’t mean
They will value you the same
Sometimes the people you love the most turn out to be the people you can trust the least
Life has taught me
I can’t control someone’s loyalty.

In Friendship -
Respect and trust.
Both elements need to be there.
And it’s to be mutual.
You can have respect for someone,
But if you don’t have trust,
The friendship will crumble.

Yes, as one ages  gradually
One comes to the realisation that
Life becomes much easier to live
If we love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.
Trust is like a mirror,
 If it’s broken,
 You can fix it
but you can still see the crack in the reflection.
