Tamlok Village Authority informs

The Tamlong Village Authority has informed that a customary laws meeting held on March 8, 2022 resolved to appoint Hemsinlung Dangmei as the new chief/Khullakpa of Tamlok village.
In a release, the village authority stated that after the demise of late Gaijaiguang Dangmei, former Khullakpa of Tamlok village on February 11, 2022, the post of Khullakpa has been lying vacant.
The village authority further informed that as per the Naga customary practices, any objection against the appointment of Hemsinlung Dangmei as the new chief may be raised through media within 7 days to Guangthanlung, Village Authority member.
