SWYC fetes National Wrestling and Pankration C'ship gold medallist Manda

KAKCHING, May 20 : Manda Leishangthem who brought home two medals including a gold and a bronze at the 1st AITWPF Federation Cup National Traditional Wrestling and Pankration Championship was felicitated today by Social Welfare Youth Club and the locals of Wangoo Sandangkhong today.
The championship was held at Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in Raipur, Chhattisgarh from May 12 to 15 and Manipur emerged overall team champions to win the CM Trophy of the championship hosted by Chhattisgarh Traditional Wrestling and Pankration Association under the aegis of All India Traditional Wrestling and Pankration Federation.
Manda who won a gold in Pankration and a bronze medal in Mas Wrestling is the youngest of the five siblings born to L Ibobi and L Bujari of Wangoo Sandangkhong.
