Aimol Khullen Jr HS vs Trinity HS in Tengnoupal Dist Subroto Football U-17 boys final

IMPHAL, May 21 : Aimol Khullen  Junior High School will lock horns with Trinity High School in the U-17 boys final of the District Level Inter School Subroto Mukerjee Football Tournament organised by District Youth Affairs and Sports Office, Tengnoupal at AMSA Complex Kangshang Machi Block.
In the second semi-final match of the tournament, Aimol Khullen Jr High School who edged out VM High School 2-1 yesterday overcame St George High School 2-0 to set up a final date with Trinity High School.
The two sides drew blank in the opening half but a goal each by M Heroching and SY Alex respectively in the 40th and the 55th minute helped Aimol Khullen Jr High School seal the game 2-0 and confirm their place in the final.
Yesterday in the 1st semi-final of the 5-team tournament, Trinity HS edged out St Joseph by 4-2 goals on penalties. It were Riamsongir, Kodun, Kosaining and Andung who scored for the winning side as only Ds Timoty and SL Morungin scored for the losing team.
