Nandita , Dineer emerge Secondary Section toppers in State Level Yoga Olympiad

IMPHAL, May 21 : Nandita Ningthoujam and Dineer Naorem emerged on top of the Secondary Section competitions for boys and girls in the 7th State Level Yoga Olympiad-2022 organised by the Directorate of Education (S) at Johnstone Higher Secondary School since yesterday.
Nandita Ningthoujam, a class IX student of Oinam Girls High School managed the top honour in the Secondary Section (14-16 years) of the two-day event as Shadokpam Babyrose (Class X) of Meitei Mayek High School, Aleena Hirom (Class X)  and Sweety Khangenbam (Class X) of Malom Megha High School secured 2nd, 3rd and 4th positions respectively.
In the girls' competition for Upper Primary Section (10-14 years), Phurailatpam Silvia (Class VIII) of Malom Megha High School sealed first place followed by Yamben Thasana Devi (Class VIII) of Cosmopolitan High School, Kshetrimayum Lanchenbi Devi (Class VI) of Practising Junior High School and Angom Rajni Chanu (Class VI) of Wangkhei High School respectively in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th places.
Dineer Naorem (Class X) of Yumbimacha High School claimed the pole position in the Secondary Section competition for boys finishing ahead of Ronaldo Thiyam (Class IX) of Model Hr Secondary School, Shivananda Thiyam (Class X)  of Model Hr Secondary School and Ngangom Luwangba Meitei of Praja High School.
Yaiphaba Ningthoujam (Class VIII) of Wangkhei High School in the meantime bagged the boys title for Upper Primary Section as Naorem Mukes Kumar of Malom Megha High School (Class VIII), Mangal Laishram of Wangkhei High School (Class VIII) and Surkumar Longjam (Class VI) of Yurembam HS settled respectively for the second, third and fourth places.
