'Krishna Vandana of Geet Govinda' released

IMPHAL, May 23: A book titled 'Krishna Vandana of Geet Govinda' written by Thounaojam Parul Devi who is a Junior Production Assistant at Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy (JNMDA) was released today.
The book release function was held at Priyogopalsana Auditorium, JNMDA and it was graced by former Director of JNMDA, Dilip Mayengbam and former Pradhan, Guru Maisnam Kaminikumar as the chief guest and president respectively. Speaking on the occasion, writer of the book Parul said that the book is a compilation of the accounts which she had with different Gurus in connection with this particular dance form  (Krishna Vandana) and the book will become a source of knowledge for the upcoming generation.
The book will benefit not only the people of Manipur but people outside the State as well regarding the dance form, she added.
