Allegation raised

IMPHAL, May 22 : A rape accused allegedly attempted to bludgeon the victim's father to death last night at Iroisemba.
Speaking to the media, the victim's father said that the accused from Lamboikhongnangkhong Mamang  Leikai outraged the modesty of his daughter on  April  2, 2018.
It is reported that the accused is a school van driver and the victim is a student.
At the time of incident, the victim was studying in KG only, he claimed and added that the case is still going on at the Court.
Claiming that he was to Taothong side and attacked with a heavy object, the victim's father said that he somehow escaped from the area and lodged a complaint to the police.
