Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board team sets off for Tripura

IMPHAL, May 23
A team of Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board (LSTB) was flagged off today to conduct the 'Ima Lairembi Lai Haraoba' at Dharmanagar in Tripura from May 25 to 27.
As per a statement from LSTB, 'Ima Lairembi Lai Haraoba' which is to be held at Rameshor in Dharmanagar is being organised by Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board, Haying Khongbal Uphong Yumpham in association with Ima Panthoibi Haraoba Thougal Lup, Dharmanagar, Rameshor to revive the age old tradition which was stopped for around 200 years.
The flagging off programme was attended by leader of LSTB, Bidyapati Senjam alias Wakhal Lamjingba, member, Keisham Ibomcha, priest, priestess and others. The nine member team who set off for Tripura are Athokpam Chinglemba, Salam Mani, Kshetrimayum Brojen, Naoroibam Sanajaoba, Wahengbam Amu, Asem Chaobiton, Chonjonbam Indira, Arambam Ibecha and Mutum Leima, added the statement.
