G-5 win 4-1 in TKWA Trophy

IMPHAL, May 23 : G-5, Heirok notched up a comfortable 4-1 win over Sangaikol FC while Yaioibi FC, Lamjao and Meira FC, Tekcham played out a goalless draw in today's Group D league matches of the ongoing TKWA Trophy 2021-22.
In the one sided encounter of the day, G-5 and Sangaikol FC drew a blank in the first half before Krishnananda broke the deadlock in the 30th minute. Nanao then doubled the advantage three minutes later but Bekham helped Sangaikol pull back a goal in the 37th minute.
The Khekman side however failed to impress and faltered badly with Premjit extending the lead for G-5 in the 48th minute before Roshan banged home the final nail in the 50+3' minute.
