Three State referees called up for KIYG football

IMPHAL, May 24 : The All India Football Federation has appointed two referees and one assistant referee from Manipur to officiate in the Khelo India Youth Games football tournament (Boys and Girls) to be held from June 4 to 13 in Chandigarh.
The referees who have been called up by the apex football governing body in the country are Rajkumar Singh and Yulung Lungsu and the assistant referee who also received the same appointment is Maibam Roshini Chanu.
The referees shall undergo practical test and viva voce for upgradation to Cat-2 Referees during this youth games, said an office memorandum issued by general secretary of the All Manipur Football Association, L Jyotirmoy Roy.
