Manipur University Students' Union appeals

Manipur University Students' Union (MUSU) has urged the authorities concerned of Manipur University to fill up the vacant statutory posts and other posts for a smooth and efficient functioning of the varsity.
MUSU in a press stated that many statutory posts and others including Finance Officer, Controller of Examination, Director UGC HRDC, Director EMMRC, Director CDC, Medical Officers etc have been lying vacant hindering the mandatory work process in the university. Stating that in-charge have been assigned against the above mentioned posts for a long time, MUSU maintained that they are unable to take independent decisions at crucial times posing obstacles in the normal functioning of the varsity impacting the students considerably.
MUSU expressed belief that the competent authorities will take up speedy measures to resolve the issue considering the problems faced by the varsity. Further the student urged the authorities concerned to keep a check on the guidelines issued by the statutory bodies of Manipur University from time to time.
