Tractor mows woman to death

CCpur, May 25 : A 46 year old woman was killed today as a speeding tractor mowed her down at Mata village around 9.30 am.
The woman identified as Lamchong w/o Hlunthang of H Makhao, Sangaikot division, Churachandpur was returning home after visiting her family at Gamnom when she met the tragedy.
She is survived by her husband, 4 sons and 3 daughters.
Sources said, the tractor involved in the mishap was engaged by road construction company-Krishna Construction Company (KCC). As a settlement was reached by the two parties, the body was taken to her native village for burial.
