No new case

IMPHAL, May 25: Even though 128 samples were subjected to Covid-19 test during the last 24 hours, not a single positive case was detected.
There is neither any report of Covid related death nor recovery or discharge of Covid-19 positive person.
Nonetheless, the pandemic had already claimed 2120 lives in the State.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the State stands at 1,37,231 (general population 1,32,217 and Central security personnel 5,014).
This figure includes 1,35,110 recovered cases (general population 1,30,103 and Central security personnel 5,007) and one active case from general population. The recovery rate is 98.45 per cent.
The cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered in the State has reached 28,86,838 (first dose 15,67,518, second dose 12,24,619 and precautionary dose 94,701).
Till Tuesday, 61.84 per cent of the State’s total eligible population has received the first dose of Covid vaccine while 51.99 per cent has been given both the first and second dose.
