SPYC, Nongren and YDCL triumph in Lamlai Cup soccer

IMPHAL, May 25 : SPYC, Seijang; Nongren and YDCL, Pungdongbam registered wins in today's Group stage matches of the ongoing Lamlai Cup 2022-23 organised by Lamlai Student's Ideal Club at Lamlai ground.
In the Group C opener, Meiraba scored in the 13th minute to hand SPYC a 1-0 win over Pangei Basti team before Nongren sealed a similar win against YPF, Yaingangpokpi in the Group D opener thanks to Uttamkumar goal in the 35th minute.
Later in the day, YDCL kicked off Group F campaign with a comfortable 3-0 victory as A Aphaoba hit a brace (13', 14') before Telheiba scored the decisive goal in the 37th minute.
