1st transfer window : 24 apply for Inter district transfer/loan

IMPHAL, Jun 17 : As many as 24 football players have applied for inter district transfer/loan in the first transfer window for the season 2022-23. The day saw only Ningombam Binodkhana apply for transfer from SSU, Imphal West to USA, Imphal East after 5 applied for the same yesterday.
The players who sought transfer yesterday include- Ningon Chiphang (from UBFC, Ukhrul to RAU, Imphal East), Themso Jajo (from OC, Ukhrul to RAU, Imphal East), Wahengbam Tejkumar (from WAFA, Imphal West to XI Star SU, Imphal East), Laishram Giri Singh (from SSU, Imphal West to XI Star SU, Imphal East) and Phangtungam Hulang (DM RAO, Imphal West to LYCC, Chandel).
On June 15, three players applied for transfer to take the number of applicants to 18 with 15 having applied till June 14. The players who applied for inter district transfer on the said day were Lukhram Bijen Singh (from SSC, Imphal East to DM RAO, Imphal West), Konthoujam Spain Singh (from USA, Imphal East to DM RAO, Imphal West) and Waikhom Sheilesh (from USA, Imphal East to DM Rao, Imphal West).
