Madhushumita opens Manipur's account at All India Karate C'ship

IMPHAL, Jun 17 : Khagenbam Madhushumita Chanu has opened medal account for Manipur in the All India Karate Championship being underway at Balewadi Stadium, Pune with a silver medal.
Madhushumita won the silver medal in the above 59 kg category kumite event in the U-15 class today in the championship which kick-started yesterday under the supervision of Karate India Organisation.
Madhushumita hails from Kumbi Khuga Wangma Leikai and is a daughter of Khangenbam Chakrabati and Khangenbam Ongbi Bina . She is a trainee at SAI-STC, Imphal under coach Soibam Chandrima Chanu.
