State Level Subroto Mukerjee Football Tournament deferred

IMPHAL, Jun 19 : The State Level Subroto Mukerjee Football Tournament for U-14 and U-17 boys which was scheduled to begin from June 21 has been postponed in view of the incessant ran causing road blockages and landslides in parts of the State.
Informing this in a release, the Directorate of Youth Affairs and Sports stated that a new commencement date of the tournaments will further be communicated separately after considering the situation.
However, the schedule of the U-17 girls competition due to be held from July 6 to 11 will remain unchanged, the release added.
