Lanchenba wins second medal in medley

IMPHAL, Jun 25 : After clinching gold medal in the 100 m breaststroke event yesterday, Laitonjam Lanchenba has made it to the podium yet again to win Manipur a silver medal in the medley event at the 28th Sub-Junior National Aquatic Championship being underway at Rajkot.
Lanchenba won the gold medal in the U-11 age category 100 m breaststroke with a time of 1 minute 21.29 seconds yesterday and took 2 minutes 37.75 seconds in the 200 m medley event today to settle for the silver medal today.
Lanchenba hails from Singjamei Thokchom Leikai, and is the son of Laitonjam Kanta and Laitonjam Ongbi Sonia.
