Seminar on 'Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability' begins

IMPHAL, Jun 29: A two day National seminar on 'Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability' commenced today at Pole Star College, Hiyanglam.
The seminar is being jointly organised by the Department of Environmental Science of the college and the Directorate of Environment and Climate Change, Government of Manipur.
The inaugural function was graced by Vice-chancellor of DM University, N Rajmuhon, principal of Pole Star College, Dr Elangbam Gopal, Joint Director of Directorate of Environment and Climate Change, Dr T Brajakumar and Registrar in-charge, National Institute of Technology Manipur, Dr Thiyam David as the presidium members.
Around 141 persons including associate professors, assistant professors, PhD scholars and research scholars will speak at the technical session of the seminar.
