IMPHAL, Jun 29 : In a disturbing turn of event, the number of active Covid cases in Manipur has mounted to 18 as five persons from Imphal West and one from Imphal East tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The State also witnessed a spike in single day positivity rate from 3.1 per cent (updated on June 28) to 7.5 per cent in the last 24 hours as six out of 80 samples sent for confirmation returned positive.
