One arrested with assault rifles

TENGNOUPAL, Jun 29 : A combined team of CDO, Moreh and 5 Assam Rifles today  apprehended one individual with two assault rifles from a jungle near S Moljol village, Moreh.
Acting on reliable information, the combined team launched an operation in S Moljol village and Govajang village, Moreh.
During the operation, one individual namely Jangminhao Kipgen (36), S/o (L) Lhunsei Kipgen of Govajang village, Moreh was arrested with two assault rifles i.e. One MK-33 assault rifle with one empty magazine and One MA-3 assault rifle with one empty magazine.
The arrested person and seized weapons were handed over to OC, Moreh Police Station for further necessary legal action.
