NAAC awards 'B' grade to Slopeland College of Teacher Education

THOUBAL, Jun 30 : Slopeland College of Teacher Education, Salt village, Khongjom has managed to get B grade from National Assessment And Accreditation Council (NAAC).
The grading has been done on the basis of the findings of a peer team who had visited the college on June 13 & 14 for inspection and assessment of NAAC.
Addressing a press conference held today at the college, N Babulin, principal of Slopeland College of Teacher Education extended his appreciation to all the teachers and staff of the college for their hard work and dedication.
He mentioned that the college has been providing quality education to students since its inception in 2014.
"A total of 220 students are studying in the colleges in various courses including B.Ed (Bachelor of Education), BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) and BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)", he added.
N Babulin further mentioned that the college has proper equipment, infrastructure and hostels for both boys & girls.
Slopeland College of Teacher Education has now become the first B. Ed college of the state to be accredited with Grade 'B' by NAAC.
