Around 12000 unemployed people are assisted with the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Scheme, a total of 5,477 start ups have benefitted under Start up India scheme, much employments are generated under Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme and found more than 20,000 youths are trained under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana. It is also found out that 5.69 lakh families have been benefitted under MGNREGS projects too. Sighting the far flung developing connectivity projects, the reconstruction of Barak Bridge and the  Makru Bridge, the smooth upgrading of the Imphal-Moreh Trans-Asian 4-Lane Highway, the improving connectivity of the Tamenglong–Tamei- Kangpokpi road, the construction of Mizoram-Manipur–Nagaland Highway, the construction of the world’s tallest bridge Jiribam-Tupul-Imphal Railway Line and widening of the Imphal-Jiribam Highway, urban transformation through “Smart City Mission”, ‘River Front Development”, smart solid waste management, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for the poor people, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Housing for all urban, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin Scheme, National Rural Mission, installing pre-paid electric consumer meters, Solar street light installation etc. have been lined up.
Manipur was conferred “Krishi Karman Award” for the highest food grain production in 2017-18. In the “Transforming Manipur, 75 Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” 5.82 lakh farmers are getting Rs 6000 per annum under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Scheme. “Farmer’s First” is Government’s top priority too. Supplementary micro irrigation is provided to farmers under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana. Manipur Organic cultivation under Mission Organic Value Chain (Manipur Organic Mission Agency) has been extended to European countries promoting organic products of the State. Indicating the sustainable development the launching of the “Chief Minister’s Green Manipur Mission” National Bamboo Mission and conservation of the Nambul River Rejuvenation project, integrated Sericulture development projects, the initiation of Loktak Livelihood Mission, promising care on ‘Food Security’, farmer’s profitable establishment of low input technology ‘National Livestock Mission’ and funds earmarking to the farmers for the development of paddy-cum-pissiculture ‘Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana’ etc are indeed the State’s significant move.
The launching of ‘DARPAN’, the activation of the Manipur Lokyukta anti-corruption cell, the implementation of the e-kuber system, mpension Manipur app and introduction of e-GRAS system, the engagement of MYGOV Manipur platform and the successfully implementation of e-office, action programming on people-friendly police administration and most importantly the Government’s declaration on “War on Drugs”policy etc. are worth noting. Well, indeed the Good Governance award was conferred in 2020 to Department of Administrative Reforms, under the Government of Manipur.
