AR seizes WY tablets worth Rs 10 lakh

TENGNOUPAL, Jul 1
Tengnoupal Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (South) seized 228 gram of WY tablet worth about Rs 10 lakh at Khudengthabi, Tengnoupal District on June 30.
A release issued by PRO of IGAR(S) informed that troops of Assam Rifles intercepted a vehicle during routine checking at Vehicle Check Post Khudengthabi.
On thorough checking of the vehicle, one package containing 228 gram of WY tablets was found concealed inside a personal bag.
The seized narcotics along with the drug peddler were handed over to Moreh Police Station for further investigation.
