State basketball teams for 2nd NE Olympic Games announced

The Manipur Basketball Association has announced men's and women's teams for the 2nd North East Olympic Games to be held in Shillong from November 10 to 16.
The players as named in a selection order released by the association are as follows.
Men's team: Y Kaashper (IE), Th Newton (IE), H Rishikanta (IE), Victor Laitonjam (IE), GA Subharaj (IE), Chongtham Tutu (IW), Markandev Sorokhaibam (IW), Naorem Jackson (IW), Borish Achom (IW), Marshal Pashel (Chandel), Lalropuia (Pherzawl) and T Siammuanmung (CCPur).
Women's team : S Tholerou C Pao (Senapati), Raziini Kaikho (Senapati), Th Deine (Senapati), G Lucybina (IE), S Sanatombi (IE), Surmita Singh (IE), S Hiron (IE), H Samjota (IE), Reveala Leivon (IW), Raj Kumari Lonna (IW), Leishimi C Hongray (Ukhrul) and Saingayai Kashung (Ukhrul).
As per the order, Y Mahendra Kapoor, Ch Tarunkumar and T Brajabidhu will be leading the men's team as coach, assistant coach and manager while GA Sanatomba Sharma, B Surup Sharma and G Tombi Sharma were named as coach, assistant coach and manager for the women's team.
The association also informed all the players to report at Brahmapur Nahabam Court from September 29 at 5 pm for further daily intensive training and coaching.
