AMSA Sports Meet begins

THOUBAL, Jan 30 : The seventh edition of AMSA Sports Meet began today at the All Maring Sports Association's (AMSA) sports complex at Laiching Kangshang village in Tengnoupal district.
The biennial sporting event which will see men compete in football and volleyball and women compete in volleyball competitions, was opened in the presence of Keirao AC MLA- L Rameshwar. Speaking at the occasion, L Rameshwar lauded the Maring community for their resolve to refrain from anti people activities like poppy cultivation and drug trafficking.
