3rd Khelo India Women's League JudoManipur win 65 medals, emerge champion

IMPHAL, Nov 30: Manipur emerged champion of the 3rd Khelo India Women's League Judo at Imphal winning a total of 65 medals--18 gold, 16 silver and 31 bronze.
Tripura secured second position winning a total of 15 medals-- 4 gold, 5 silver and 6 bronze.
The league, organised by Manipur Judo Association concluded today.
In the senior -48 Kg category, Manipur's Th Maloti Devi won gold while Mutum Roshibina Devi won silver. A Nishita and Helen Moirangthem won bronze medals.
In senior -52 Kg category, Ruma Debnath of Tripura won gold and Rishca Iaword of Meghalaya won silver medal. Manipur's Laishram Pushpa Devi and Mayanglambam Jenita Chanu won bronze medals.
In senior -57 Kg category, Nisha Kumari of Bihar won gold medal and Manipur's Haobijam Sobhasini Devi won silver. Lourembam Chaoba and Athoibi Yanglem of Manipur won bronze medals.
In senior -63 Kg category, Debori of Tripura won gold medal and Manipur's N Melody and Priyangka Yumkhaibam won silver and bronze respectively.
In senior -78 Kg category, Manipur's Laishram Roshni Devi and Thingom Gangarani won gold and silver medal respectively. Saikhom Shandhyarani of Manipur and Dharitri Sonowal of Assam won bronze medals.
In junior -48 Kg category, Manipur's Hidam Tina Chanu and Helen Moirangthem won the gold and silver medal respectively. Asem Nishita Devi and Thangjam Maloti Devi of Manipur won bronze medals.
In junior -52 Kg category, Manipur's Mayanglambam Jenita and Sukham Beauly Chan won the gold and silver medal respectively. Manipur's Longjam Nokpheka and Rums Debnath of Tripura won bronze medals.
In junior -57 Kg category, Haobijam Sobhasini of Manipur won the gold medal and Ansashila Reang of Tripura won silver medal. Manipur's Athoi Yanglem and Arunachal Pradesh's Gegul Goi won bronze medals.
In junior -63 Kg category, Debori Darlong of Tripura won the gold medal. Manipur's Naorem Melody and Lairenlakpam Hellyna won silver and bronze.
In junior -78 Kg category, Manipur's Laishram Roshini Devi won the gold medal.
In junior +78 Kg category, Priya Raj of Bihar won the gold and Hijam Sanjana Devi of Manipur won silver medal.
