"Fake" report about missing persons goes viral

IMPHAL, Dec 2: An unconfirmed report of several residents of valley going missing scared people and prompted Imphal based reporters to follow leads only to find the report to be "fake".
The report which went viral on social media said at least 7 persons from Singjamei area and Tera had gone missing at the border area between Bishnupur and Churachandpur district. However, when reporters pursued the report with the police and visited the localities, no one was found reported missing.
