PDA Chairman inspects ground construction at Kyamgei

IMPHAL, Dec 3 : Planning & Development Authority (PDA) Chairman and Keirao A C MLA Lourembam Rameshwor Meitei on Sunday inspected the construction of a ground at Kyamgei Khoirom Leikai under Kyamgei Gram Panchayat.
The PDA Chairman accompanied by Keiao Bitra BDO Takhelmayum Inao, Panchayat Secretary Sabiriroy, Extension Officer Panchayat Th Rajkumar, Extension Officer Development MD Zumar Khan and other officials inspected the construction/ expansion work of the Youth Social Club ground in Kyamgei Khoirom Leikai.
Speaking to the media, L Rameshwor said that the ground was constructed as a project of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) and implemented under the Line Department.
He also assured to construct a garden behind the club building, drain along the side of the ground and an open gym near the community hall soon.
Youth Social Club president Oinam Rajen expressed his gratitude to the local MLA for  constructing the ground to help the villagers of the Kyamgei area.
