Sunrise Club knock out Young Sinlung Club by 7-0 goals

IMPHAL, Jan 31 : Sunrise Club-Kadamtala knocked out Young Sinlung Club 7-0 in the preliminary knockout stage of the 29th KC Mallick Memorial Invitation Football tournament organised by the All Jiribam Sports Association at Jiribam Hr Secondary School playground.
Sunrise Club got off to a flying start dominating the proceedings and were 5-0 ahead with Minthang scoring twice (18', 39') including the opener and L Chhuanmoia (29'), Chakri (37') and K Lenin (20') netting a goal apiece. The onslaught continued after the break as well with N Kennedy scoring the 6th goal in the 54 minute before L Chhuanmoia completed his double in the 60th minute to make it 7-0.
Oriental Club will play Kuki Sporting Club tomorrow in the next match.
