Missing truck recovered

IMPHAL, Feb 2:  Manipur Drivers Association (MDA) has been able to recover a truck carrying sand which went missing on January 28 last.
Speaking in connection with the missing truck, MDA president Saikhom Babudon said that the truck (Tata hybrid) which transports sand between Assam and Nagaland went missing on January 28 last when it entered Manipur.
While tracing the location of the truck through its installed GPS system, it was found to be located at an area under Lamlai Police Station in Imphal East district.
Accordingly MDA reported the same to Lamlai Police and the police team was able to recover the truck from Napetpali on January 31 last.
The recovered truck was handed to its owner today in the presence of Nagaland Police team and MDA members.
Manipur Drivers Association lauded the swift action and dedicated efforts of Lamlai Police which led to the recovery of the missing truck belonging to Nagaland.
